is a company that has been formed to commercialise the highly developed fermentation bacterial strains that over-express the amino acid, L-Lysine. L-Lysine is the dominant essential amino acid required by stockfeed manufacturers to bring low-cost feeds to an acceptable nutritional level for optimal non-ruminant animal growth (predominately pigs and chickens).
What We Do

LAPL is currently value-adding clients’ carbon by facilitating the manufacture of the essential amino acid, lysine, for large integrated chicken & pork producers (>5000T of Lysine / year consumption).
The value-adding of carbon is to expressly deliver cost-effective, price-stabilized essential lysine, in an advantageous form to the respective client feed mills / non-ruminant producers, who operate on low margins.
LAPL works with large mono gastric feed suppliers to further ‘vertically integrate’ client businesses.
The LAPL development process starts with identifying interrelated feed formulation strategies at client sites and results in significant feed cost reduction, whilst increasing the feed performance, at client operations via the application of the LAPL technology.
